Changes
This set of unstable stream updates closes out the repository wide rebuild efforts.
Particular attention was paid to optimising packages with LTO, PGO and BOLT for improved performance.
The LLVM stack has been updated to v23.1, one of our quickest updates to the latest version of LLVM to date. In addition to landing the latest 23.1 stack, LLVM was updated to be able to use the high performance mi-malloc v3 memory allocator for further performance improvements. For more details on the LLVM 23.1 release, please check out their release notes.
Next to that, glibc was updated to version 2.44, the entire KDE stack was bumped and landed, and COSMIC DE 1.8.0 is included as well.
We managed to sneak kernel 7.2.5 in for the -stable and the -gaming kernls, just as the NVIDIA userspace OpenGL/Vulkan/etc. driver was updated to 615.71.09.
One additional notable highlight is the inclusion of libreoffice into the aerynOS repositories. Libreoffice is one of the packages we have most often been asked to include into our repository and we are finally at the place where it can be included. To note, those on Plasma may want to also install libreoffice-fk6 for full integration with Plasma and KDE applications.
