This is our first Unstable Stream Update delivered via our newly upgraded infra that supports Versioned Repositories, and we’re pretty excited about it!

As part of this change, it is perhaps worth highlighting that we [switched back to the `main` branch in the package recipes repository](https://github.com/orgs/AerynOS/discussions/118).

## What do you mean by “Unstable Stream”?

We have now landed [Task/vessel channel api by tarkah · Pull Request #142 · aerynOS/infra · GitHub](https://github.com/AerynOS/infra/pull/142) and have just finished deploying it on our package repository server.

This change enables users to `moss sync -u` against either fixed-in-time “Tags” or against regularly updated “Streams”.

Note that we are currently still fixing small niggles, so we will only expand on the use-cases in an upcoming blog post, which will also outline how to use the new moss `system-model` feature in practice.

In the coming days, we will be updating our documentation to reflect the new URIs that users can _optionally_ choose to use to access the new Versioned Repository Tags and Streams. If you’re the curious sort, peruse [https://build.aerynos.dev](https://build.aerynos.dev) to see the new organization.

But really, for now, you can simply update via `moss sync -u` as normal and things should in turn continue to _Just Work™_.

**STATUS:** The Versioned Repositories, phase 1 feature has been landed. No user action is required.
